Get Out and Vote!
The RPAC Trustees encourage you to exercise your individual right to vote Tuesday, September 8. The RPAC Trustees voted to support the following candidates for City Council in Tuesday’s election: District 2 – Rick Westcott; District 4 – David Patrick; District 5 – William Martinson; and District 6 – Dennis Troyer. Remember, your dues dollars are NOT used in support of candidates. If you would like to become involved in the process, you may contribute as a member to the RPAC funds and/or volunteer to serve on the RPAC Committee. (Look for the GTAR/NORES Committees Volunteer form and committee descriptions in October’s GTAR World newsletter.)

HUD Internet Training
1:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the GTAR Training Center with Mary Berry. This course is for real estate professionals interested in learning the correct HUD procedures and how to correctly submit HUD bids. Mary will also go over DHA Loans (203B, 203K), VA, and Fannie Mae REO’S (Foreclosures), as well as other REO’s. This class is OREC approved for 3 hours elective CE credit. 11th Annual Landlord Training Seminar
9:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. in the GTAR Training Center, offered by the Tulsa Area Housing Partnership; moderator will be Lynn Larson, Tulsa Field Office, Department of Housing and Urban Development. Training will include an overview of the rights and obligations of landlords and tenants and the specifics of Oklahoma Landlord Tenant Law. Following will be a discussion of fair housing law with a panel of experts. After, the training emphasis will shift to reasonable accommodations and modifications. The morning will conclude with a general question and answer session presented by a panel of Tulsa Area Fair Housing Partnership representatives. EDUTAINMENT Day – Daze of Your Lives in Real Estate
