Deadline: 2010 GTAR/NORES Committee Volunteer Forms
Where do you fit? Bring your talent to a committee to strengthen your Association’s services. We are looking for members to serve on GTAR and NORES committees for 2010. If you are interested in making a difference in the Association and the real estate industry, volunteer for a committee that best fits your skills. Your participation does make a difference! For a list of all committees, requirements, and a volunteer form, click here: 2010-GTAR-NORES-Committees-Volunteer-Form. If you are currently serving on a committee and would like to continue serving, you still need to submit the volunteer form!

4th Quarter NORES Billing
If you have not paid your fourth quarter NORES invoice, your NORES services (MLS, Key, CIE) have been suspended, and in addition to the $20 late fee, a $30 reinstatement fee has been added to your account. All fees must be paid in full before services are reinstated. You can pay by credit card online: Go to Main Menu on tulsarealtors.com, click on the yellow View/Pay Bill bar, then click NORES–Accounts Receivables, and follow instructions to pay. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. Payment can also be made by calling the GTAR/NORES office, 918-663-7500 or mailing to NORES, P.O. Box 470325, Tulsa, OK 74147.


2010 GTAR Annual Dues
Payment is now due and will be late December 1, 2009, at which time a $20 late payment fee will be charged. Invoice includes local, state, and national dues for the entire year of 2010. Invoices were posted online October 1 at tulsarealtors.com; on the main Member Services page, click the yellow View/Pay Bill bar, then click GTAR Accounts Receivables. New Member Processing: During the months of November and December, all new members to GTAR must pay prorated 2009 dues PLUS 2010 dues and the application fee at the time of application.


New NORES MLS Participant/User Agreement
Services will be suspended if new User Agreements are not completed and received by NORES before December 1. The agreement and instructions for submitting it can be found at http://n/. Completed agreements may be submitted by: Fax: 918-663-8815; Email: membership@tulsarealtors.com; Mail P.O. Box 470325, Tulsa, OK 74147; or, you can bring it by the Association during office hours. Brokers/Managers: Please give your assistants the new user agreement when processing a new associate (and destroy the old ones).

Do you know a Commercial REALTOR® or REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® who promotes the interest of the commercial real estate profession, the community, and their clients and customers? Nominate him/her for Commercial REALTOR® of the Year; it’s easy and almost anyone can do it (no self nominations are allowed). Congress Passes Tax Credit Extension/Expansion
Both the House and the Senate have passed an unemployment insurance bill, which includes an amendment that expands and extends the tax credit; that bill will be sent to President Obama for his signature in the next day or so. OREC Contracts
The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission (OREC) has published updated contract forms on their website www.ok.gov/OREC/; however, at this time the Greater Tulsa Association of REALTORS® (GTAR) Board of Directors has not adopted the latest version of the contract forms.
