Make Sure Your Calls Go Through
In April of this year, the new 539 area code will be available in Oklahoma. You'll still be able to request a 918 area code, but only as long as they remain available. This is going to affect all of us because beginning March 5, it will be necessary for everyone of us to dial all 10 digits in every phone number you dial, whether from your landline or from your cell phone. As you look around your house and your business, think about those devices that might require a phone number that you don't usually think of, and add the area code to the numbers. Be sure to check all your devices such as burglar alarms with auto dialers, fax machines, and of course, the numbers stored in the phonebook on your cell phone.
