Free “Good Thing You’re in Tulsa” Yard Signs Available to Principal Brokers
The GTAR/NORES Boards of Directors voted to give the Principal Broker of each company one FREE “Good Thing” sign for every two listings their company has as of 11-30-2007. Only the Principal Broker or their designated representative can order and pick up the free signs. The signs available for immediate pick up include Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Jenks, Owasso, Bixby, Claremore, Sapulpa, and Sand Springs. To place an order or if you would like a city not listed, please call 663-7500 and ask to speak with Gloria for more information. The signs are 12” x 18” corrugated (rigid plastic) with yard stakes. GTAR/NORES Inclement Weather Policy
We are entering that time of year when the weather does not always work in our favor; therefore, GTAR/NORES has established the following inclement weather policy for all education classes at GTAR (CE, Computer, New Member Orientation, Post Licensing, etc.): If Tulsa Public Schools are closed the day of a scheduled class, the GTAR/NORES class is cancelled. Depending on the type of class being cancelled, the class will either be rescheduled for a future date or a full refund will be issued. Please be sure to check one of the local news channels the night before and/or morning of a scheduled class for school closings.
Oklahoma Real Estate Commissioner Vacancies – Request for Nominees
Two positions of the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission will come up for appointment next year — one in District 2 and one in District 4.OAR has the opportunity to submit a list of three nominees for each position to the governor; although he is not required to select appointees from the list. OAR’s Nominating Committee will be meeting in January to consider OAR’s nominees for these positions, and the Committee members need your input. 2nd Annual REALTORS® Commercial Alliance Celebration Banquet – Friday, January 25
Recognizing the achievements of Commercial REALTOR® members within the profession and the community and honoring the 2007 Commercial REALTOR® of the Year (to be announced at the Celebration); cost is $50 per person. 2008 Dues are Now Late!
A $20 late payment fee is required. The invoices include local, state, and national dues. REALTOR® dues are now $400 and REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® dues are $370 (includes the late payment fee). You can pay online with Visa or MasterCard by logging on to tulsamls.net; under Financial Services, click GTAR Accounts Receivables. Please note: If you pay your dues online, the $20 late fee will be assessed manually – you will be mailed an invoice. Payment can also be made by personal check or cash. If you are planning on moving your license, all transfers will have to have paid 2008 dues prior to transferring to a new company.
