This Week! Fair Housing Poster Contest – Deadline for Entries
Get those posters in – the deadline is Wednesday, April 16! The contest is open to anyone in grades 1 through 5 who wish to participate. If you know a child who would like to participate, please give them a flyer! You can access the flyer with all the details by clicking on the following link:

From April 21 to April 30, posters will be on display at the GTAR office, and the winners will be determined by YOU, our members! So be sure to come by the office and vote for your favorite! Prize money is be donated by Executives’ Title, FirsTitle, and Old Republic Home Protection.

Coming Up! OK Broker Relationships CE Class – Monday, April 21

“Sold Out”! Teleconference: OREC Revised OK Contract and Related Addenda – Friday, April 25
No seats are available in either class, and at this time, OREC has no plans to offer additional classes. However, we (GTAR) are in the process of scheduling the same OREC Revised OK Contract and Related Addenda class with Attorney Bob Nichols sometime in early June; when we have the times and dates, we will let you know.

Encore Presentation: Thinking Outside the Bubble – Thursday, May 15
The Truth about Real Estate, Foreclosures, and Today’s Homebuyers in Tulsa. 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the GTAR Training Center with Jason Oelrich. This course is an emerging market update from the nation’s largest mortgage lender (Countrywide Home Loans) specifically focused on the economic climate and current housing market for the greater Tulsa metropolitan area.This is the same course that was offered in January 2008; however, based on class feedback, this time the focus will be more on Tulsa, and information will be included to help real estate professionals understand the complexities associated with successfully negotiating short sales and recognizing when a short sale is a viable strategy. OREC approved for 3 hours required HOT CE credit.
