New NORES MLS Participant/User Agreement
ALL members must complete the new agreement and return it to NORES by September 30, 2009! The agreement and instructions for submitting it can be found at http://nores.net/useragreement.htm. HUD Internet Training
1:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the GTAR Training Center with Mary Berry. This course is for real estate professionals interested in learning the correct HUD procedures and how to correctly submit HUD bids. Mary will also go over DHA Loans (203B, 203K), VA, and Fannie Mae REO’S (Foreclosures), as well as other REO’s. This class is OREC approved for 3 hours elective CE credit. 11th Annual Landlord Training Seminar
9:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. in the GTAR Training Center, offered by the Tulsa Area Housing Partnership; moderator will be Lynn Larson, Tulsa Field Office, Department of Housing and Urban Development. Training will include an overview of the rights and obligations of landlords and tenants and the specifics of Oklahoma Landlord Tenant Law. Following will be a discussion of fair housing law with a panel of experts. After, the training emphasis will shift to reasonable accommodations and modifications. The morning will conclude with a general question and answer session presented by a panel of Tulsa Area Fair Housing Partnership representatives. OREC approved for 3 hours required FHR CE credit. This seminar is free but registration is required – space is limited! EDUTAINMENT Day – Daze of Your Lives in Real Estate
9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the GTAR Training Center. The first one in May was such a huge success the Sales Associate Committee has put together another one. Join us for breakfast at 8:30 a.m., then get some great information on the following topics: Appraisals and How They Affect You; Green Building in Green Country; Proper Etiquette – “It’s a Good Thing”; and Ask the Taxman. Drawings for prizes will be held throughout the morning. This event is free to members but registration is required by noon on September 30.
