GTAR Weekly Facts – February 21, 2011


January 2011 Home Sales Stats Now Available 
Click Here:  The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) will begin releasing monthly home sales statistics around the 15th of each month. GTAR will also begin reporting monthly home sales statistics as close to the 15th as possible to mirror the new NAR schedule. In order to provide timely and accurate data, it is extremely important that you update closing and pending information in the MLS system as soon as possible. A link to GTAR’s latest home sales statistics will be included in the GTAR Weekly Facts and posted on the MarketLinx Desktop page as soon as data is available. The statistics will continue to be released to NAR, as well as local media. 

2010 Award Recipients
Congratulations to Jan Gordon on being named 2010 REALTOR® of the Year; Monty Berry on being named 2010 Commercial REALTOR® of the Year; and David Palik on being named 2010 GTAR Sales Associate of the Year. Royce Ellington received the 2010 President’s Award; Susan Beach received the 2010 Committee Chair Award; and Karen Burnette received the 2010 President’s Outstanding Service Award. Dan Staudt was recognized as a GTAR Life Member.

After class, head over to the gymnasium for the annual free Trade Show brought to you by our wonderful affiliate members. Data Co-Op Program Now Available
GTAR/NORES is proud to announce our new Data Co-Op program, which is now accessible in Marketlinx. The program allows users to search other MLS’ data. The first “Data Co-Op” will be with the Oklahoma City MLS (OKMAR) system.
“It’s a Good Time to Buy” Yard Signs
We still have some “It’s a Good Time to Buy” signs left: Broken Arrow, Bixby, and Jenks. The PR campaign yard signs are available to all GTAR members at no additional cost—all you have to do is come by the GTAR office and get them.
